On 17th February 2023, Dr.Rajendra Prasad Das, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Arupjyoti Choudhury, Registrar of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) along with two faculty members visited Assam Don Bosco University, Tapesia Campus and interacted with the Vice Chancellor Fr. (Dr) Stephen Mavely and Pro Vice Chancellor (Tapesia) Fr (Dr) Jose Palely.
The discussion centred around signing an MOU between the two Universities which could lead to a possibility of offering Dual Degrees to the Students of Don Bosco University – a normal degree obtained on campus and a stand-alone degree in Distance Mode at KKHSOU. This would be in keeping with meeting some of the NEP 2020 possibilities of pursuing two degrees at the same time.
