Sneha Jyothi Cuktural Troupe from Balgaum, Karnataka organized a cultural show today at the University’s Atrium, filled with enthusiastic and cheering crowd.
The uniquely talented, differently abled troupe members, who are totally blind performed inspirational songs, popular hit songs from movies in Hindi, English, Khasi and Assamese.
Audience were also entertained with mimicry and jokes, and every audience was amazed at the musical skills displayed by the performers in playing guitar, keyboard, drums, tabla etc.
The Cultural Troupe was accompanied by their Director Fr. Joseph Madahavath, a Claretian Missionary who has been travelling with them to different parts of India,
inspiring young minds and bringing joy to the youth and children across the country.
Their main aim according to Fr. Joseph is ‘to spread love through music and bring about peace and harmony’ among the people of India. They have performed at different Schools, Colleges and Cultural Festivals in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa and Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Meghalaya.
