The students from Department of Hospitality and Hotel Administration hosted a Republic Day Themed Lunch as a part of Republic Day 2023 celebration at Basic Training Restaurant on 24th January 2023.
Keeping the tricolor in mind, B.Sc. HHA 2nd Semester students designed and prepared a 3 course elaborated menu and decorated the restaurant accordingly.
The event started with an introductory speech by Mr Souvik Sharkar, HOD, Dept. of Hospitality and Hotel Administration, on the importance and the mission of the event followed by distribution of national flag badges among the students. Then the delicacies were displayed and explained in the presence of Father Stephen Mavely, Vice Chancellor; Dr Riju Sharma, Director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; Dr Prasanta Kr. Chaudhury, Joint Controller of Examinations and some other Department Heads and faculty members of the Department of Hospitality and Hotel Administration.
The event concluded with appreciation and thanksgiving by all the invited dignitaries.
