What is a University Registration?
Once a student is admitted in a college / institution under any University, University Registration is mandatory as Colleges / Institutions are under a University. The University is the one that conducts final exams, issues certificates etc. For example, if you are admitted in a college named ‘ABC College’ which is under Gauhati University, you will have to register yourself under Gauhati University by submitting your migration certificate. University like Assam Don Bosco University is a University on its own, therefore, the registration also is done in the same University.
