A resident of Nagaland has won the topper’s gold medal in MTech as well as Assam Don Bosco University’s (ADBU) Chancellor’s gold medal for standing first across all disciplines and degrees in the year 2013.

Miss Subra Mukherjee, a student at ADBU Azara campus is topper of M. Tech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) batch 2013. The medal is awarded to a graduating student for securing the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) among all the students of the University. Miss Mukherjee is currently assistant professor at ADBU department of M.Tech.

For the first time this year, two ADBU students are awarded the Vice-Chancellors gold medal for “positive contribution to campus life.” The awardees belong to campuses at Azara and Kharguli in Guwahati.

Chief Guest, Prof. AN Rai, the Director of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, will present the medals during the second annual convocation ceremony scheduled to start 4.30 pm on Saturday, 21 September.

Degrees will be conferred on 298 students, and medals under various categories will be awarded to 11 outstanding graduates.

Another double medal winner Miss Sweety Mathew is Master of Business Administration student at ADBU’s Kharguli campus. She won the topper’s medal for MBA batch 2013 as well as a second medal, the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal for positive contribution to campus life.

This year, Vice Chancellor’s medal is awarded also to a second student Mr Sanjay Chhettri of M.Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) for positive contribution to campus life.

Other toppers include Gautam Budha Nath (MCA 2013), Baiarbha Massar and Susanna Lungalang (MSW 2013), Jahnabi Borah MTech 2013 (Computer Science & Engineering), Rosemary Koikara BTech 2013 (Computer Science & Engineering), Annesha Baruah BTech 2013 (Electrical and Electronics Engineering), Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, BTech 2013 (Electronics and Communication Engineering).
