National DNA Day was observed by the Department of Biosciences on 25th April 2023 in Tapesia, Campus, Assam Don Bosco University.
On this occasion MSc 2nd Semester students showcased a presentation on Human Genome Project and its impact to society in the morning assembly. An online essay competition was also organised and a total of 20 participants from Department of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Botany participated in the event along with students from Cotton University. Additionally, an Art /Painting and Science Model Competition was also organised in which participants from the Department of Botany and Zoology, Assam Don Bosco University took part.
