| Title of the Project: | Development of cost-effective, biocompatible suture biomaterial from banana (Musa balbisiana) pseudostem in the field of veterinary research. |
| Funding details: | DST SERB: Startup Grant ( SRG/2019/002316) |
| Duration: | 12 months and renewable based on performance and /or co-terminus with the project sanctioned for 2 years |
| Emoluments: | Rs. 20,000/- per month (HRA will be admissible as per rules of DST and ADBU) |
| Eligibility: | • Candidate should not be more than 30 years of age • M.Sc. in Zoology with a minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA from recognised Indian university |
| Requisite Experience: | • Skills in laboratory techniques including microbiology work is desirable |
