On 31st Jan 2020, the Feast of St. John Bosco (Don Bosco) was celebrated at both Azara and Tapesia Campuses with holding special assembly in the morning.
At Azara Campus, floral tributes were paid to the bust of St John Bosco by members of the management and also by staff and student coordinators. A short presentation on the life of Don Bosco, prepared by Mr Ankit Panda was shown and toppers of the Autumn Semester 2019 were also felicitated on this occasion.
At Tapesia Campus, the celebration of the Feast of St John Bosco began on 29th evening with a Bosco Nite where musical performances, quiz competitions and a bonfire were held. And on 30th January, a movie ‘The Two Popes’ was shown in the Auditorium of Block -I as a part of the celebration. On 31st morning, dance performances, video on the life of Don Bosco, a speech from the Vice Chancellor, and prize distribution of Drawing Competition, Quiz Competition etc were held at the Atrium of Academic Block – II.
