Assam Don Bosco University has been put in the ranking band of 26-50 (all in this ranking band are considered equals) among the private universities in India in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. A total of 674 universities and institutions were ranked in this latest report of ARIIA.

The University is the only one from North East India featured in the ARIIA among private Universities – the other institutions featured in ARIIA are IIT – Guwahati, NIT Silchar and NIT Arunachal Pradesh which are established by Central Government.

ARIIA Report was released yesterday by the Vice President of India, Shri Venkaiah Naidu.

What is ARIIA?

Ministry of Education, Govt. of India has initiated ‘Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA)’ to systematically rank education institutions and universities primarily on innovation related indicators. ARIIA considers all major indicators which are commonly used globally to rank most innovative education institutions/ universities in the world.
