Positions:

1. Proposal Title: Unveiling the biological characterisation and efficacy of Flacitran in treating Peripheral diabetic neuropathy through network pharmacology and experimental pharmacology, utilising In-silico, in vitro, and in vivo studies.

PI: Dr. Devid Chutia, M. Pharm, PhD

Requirement: 1

Position:  JRF

Salary: Rs. 40,700/- per month (Including HRA)

Qualification: MS/ M. Pharm in the subject, including Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutics. (GPAT will be given preference).

Desired experience: Animal handling, in vivo animal study, Expertise in in silico study, and in vitro study, publication record as first/corresponding author in an indexed journal.

Project Duration: 2 years

• Proposal Title: Eco-Innovative Formulation of folic acid coated pea pods-based phytosomes (FPPbP): A Sustainable Approach against Cancer.

PI: Dr. Manas Jyoti Kapil, M. Pharm, PhD

Position:  Project Associate-I

Salary: Rs. 30,800/- per month. (Including HRA)

Qualification: The candidate must hold a first class MS/ M. Pharm in Pharmacology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Pharmacognosy/Pharmaceutics/other relevant subjects.

Desired experience: Animal experimentations, Expertise in novel drug delivery, and in vitro study, publication record as first/corresponding author in an indexed journal.

Project Duration: 3 years

• Proposal Title: Preclinical Validation of Rhynchotechum ellipticum, an Underexplored Ethnomedicinal Plant from Northeast India, for Therapeutic Potential in Obesity-Linked Metabolic Dysregulation.

PI: Dr. Loushambam Samananda Singh, M. Pharm, PhD

Position:  Project Associate-I

      Salary: Rs. 30,800/- per month. (Including HRA)

Qualification: M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related disciplines from a recognized university, with preference given to candidates possessing valid NET/JRF/GPAT qualifications.

Desired experience:

• Candidates with a Ph.D. degree will be accorded additional preference.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in both in-vitro techniques and in-vivo animal studies, including rodent handling, obesity/diabetes models, and biochemical estimations
• Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, Western blotting, and ELISA, will be an added advantage
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior research publications in reputed, peer-reviewed Scopus/SCI-indexed journals.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software/tools

Project Duration: 3 years

• Proposal Title: Dissecting the role of tranilast in modulating neuroinflammation and α-synuclein clearance in Parkinson’s disease models through NLRP3 inflammasome inhibition

PI: Dr. Emdormi Rymbai, M. Pharm, PhD

Requirement: 1

Position: ANRF JRF

Qualification: M. Pharm/ M.S Pharm/ M.Sc. in Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related disciplines from a recognized university. Preference shall be given to candidates holding a valid GPAT/GATE/NET qualification or having qualified in examinations conducted by the Central Government.

Desired experience:

1. Candidate possessing hands-on experience in in-vitro and in-vivo studies.
2. Candidates with prior research publications as first/corresponding author in reputed, peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus or SCI will be given preference.
