The Department of Hospitality and Hotel Administration organized a Workshop on Reutilization of Food Waste on 29th September 2023.

The workshop aimed at teaching the students various ways in which food wastes can be reused. The session began with Mr. Manas Sarkar demonstrating ways in which food waste can be used for food and decorative items. He briefed the students about the amount of food wastes that happens around the country in a daily basis and the importance of knowing ways in which these food waste can be reused.

The workshop ended with an exhibition of various food items made from food waste and it was attended by faculty members from the Departments of Public Administration, Education and Psychology.
