A Walk-in-interview for ASTEC sponsored Research project will be conducted in the conference room, Block III, Department of Biosciences, ADBU, Tapesia campus, 782402, Assam on 24/01/12025 from 11 AM onwards to select the candidates for the post of Project Assistant.

Fellowship: As per ASTEC grants for the fellowship.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life-science with at least 60% aggregate score

Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET /GATE qualification.

Tenure: Up to the termination of project, subject to annual performance review. Project is for 1.5 years.

Application procedure:

Interested and eligible candidates shall produce original certificates along with one set of attested copies (for submission), recent photograph and a copy of latest bio-data at the time of interview. 6. If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
7. The appointment of the candidate will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Institute/ funding agency particularly applicable to the said project as and when required.
8. The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
9. The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day advance notice before completion of the tenure, if performance till date is not deemed satisfactory.
10. Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview.
