The Department of Mathematics organised a one day seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship Development Programme’ on 29th March 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Auditorium.
The topic of the seminar was ‘Role of Mathematics in Entrepreneurship’, where focus was given on different plans and strategies to be followed by new start-ups with examples of recent successful entrepreneurs. The resource persons delivering the talk were Dr. Upakul Sarmah, Deputy Registrar, TISS Guwahati, and Mr. Himanshu Barman, co-founder of Kalpavriksha Trust. The seminar was attended by students and faculty of School of Fundamental and Applied Sciences and School of Life Sciences.
